The challenge

Trainline’s booking platform runs on a web of upstream microservices, with a Gateway API in front as the single, dependable entry point. Keeping that layer fast and maintainable, while modernising ageing framework code, is what keeps the whole booking journey reliable.

How we helped

We worked within the Gateway API team on the proxy layer across the booking platform, and migrated critical services from .NET Framework to .NET Core, improving maintainability and tightening the deployment pipelines behind them.

The result

A cleaner, more maintainable gateway and modernised services, making the booking platform easier and safer to build on.
